fire Suppression System
agriculture
Fire and explosions are risks associated with agriculture. Fogmaker’s technology provides the right conditions to combat the complex conditions of a fire that may arise in an agricultural machine´s engine compartment.
Active 24/7
The system is always ready. No power supply needed for activation or system monitoring.
Outstanding Effect
Choking and cooling time at least double compared to other certified systems*, which prevents reignition and gives time for a safe evacuation.
*SP4912 method test result
Simplicity
The system works without electricity and regardless of orientation.
Minimal Downtime
Quick recharging for minimal downtime.
the Problem
PROTECT THE EQUIPMENT AND SECURE THE HARVEST
Agricultural equipment such as tractors, balers, and combine harvesters can be of high value, not only as an investment, but also because of the money it earns during harvest. A fire in any type of agricultural equipment can have serious consequences for both owners and the surrounding community. If a machine catches fire in the workshop, there can be substantial damages that take years to overcome. Due to the seasonal nature of certain types of farming, the consequences might be even worse if the farmer misses his ‘window’ for sowing or harvesting.
Many insurance companies require that agricultural machines have a fire protection system.
Our Solution
SAVES LIVES, PROTECTS EQUIPMENT AND PREVENTS FIRE FROM SPREADING
Fogmaker’s automatic fire suppression system is designed to suppress fires to save lives, protect equipment, and prevent fires from spreading. Several insurance companies offer a better premium or lower deductible when you have fire suppression from Fogmaker installed.
The piston accumulator is the base of the Fogmaker system. and should have a working pressure of 100-105 bar at 20 degrees C.
The distribution system consists of distribution hoses, pipes, fittings, and spray nozzles. The system distributes the suppression liquid from the piston accumulator out into the fire-protected area.
Electrical actuation (optional) – by mounting an actuator and connect it to the electrically activated valve on the piston accumulator, the Fogmaker system may deployed by hand, from inside cab and/or outside machine.

How it Works
ALWAYS ACTIVE WITH OUTSTANDING CHOKING AND COOLING TECHNOLOGY
Water-based mist has an outstanding choking and cooling effect. The system is always active – no power supply is needed for activation or system monitoring. Also, Fogmaker has a longer emptying time than many competing systems, which is critical to prevent reignition and downtime – and it’s the only way to better handle fibrous fires within the machine. The long emptying time also buys valuable time for evacuation.
Advantages
UNIQUELY DESIGNED WITH INDIVIDUAL OPTIONS
A Fogmaker fire suppression system is uniquely designed for each individual machine, make, and model, and the modular design allows the end customer to tailor several options. Fogmaker has a long and broad experience from the agriculture segment and its different applications.
